What is blackout poetry?
Blackout poetry is a type of writing which focuses on rearranging words to create a new message. It is also known as blackout poetry because the author normally uses a permanent black marker to cross out the words that are unnecessary or irrelevant to the effect it is trying to create. The main purpose of blackout poetry is to create a completely new text from already published words and let the author free its imagination and interpret the text as he wishes.
